How to choose your size
Measure the thickness of the finished aperture edge. Van window apertures are often double-skinned — an outer body panel plus an inner wall. If the two skins have been spot-welded, pressed or bonded together, measure the combined thickness. If they have not been brought together, measure across both. If carpet or internal lining will be tucked under the trim, allow for that thickness too.
How much do I need?
These are verified window glass perimeters for common van models — the aperture edge run will be close to these but should always be checked on the vehicle:

VW T5/T6 side window: 3.40m
Ford Transit Custom sliding window: 3.53m
Renault Trafic / Vauxhall Vivaro (pre-2019): 3.53m
Vauxhall Vivaro 2019+ / Toyota Proace / Peugeot Expert / Citroen Dispatch: 3.29m
Fiat Ducato / Peugeot Boxer / Citroen Relay, front side window: 3.79m
Ducato / Boxer / Relay LWB, rear quarter window: 2.87m
Mercedes Sprinter / VW Crafter sliding window: 4.35m

A 5m cut length suits one window on any of the vehicles above. A 10m cut length suits a pair of windows. These are glass sizes, so the aperture edge run will be close but should be checked on the vehicle before ordering.
Vehicle notes
VW Transporter T4/T5/T6/T6.1 side window apertures are double-skinned — an outer body panel and an inner wall — and fitters commonly press or bond the two skins together before trimming; measure the combined thickness once joined. Mercedes Sprinter and VW Crafter barn door apertures are also double-skinned in the same way.
For Ford Transit / Transit Custom, Fiat Ducato / Peugeot Boxer / Citroen Relay, Renault Trafic / Vauxhall Vivaro / Nissan NV300, Renault Master / Vauxhall Movano, and Toyota Proace / Peugeot Expert / Citroen Dispatch, always measure the aperture edge directly on the vehicle before ordering.
