Winbond Combo Glass/Paint Primer 1000ml
The workshop-size bottle of the approved primer for the Winbond bonding system. Winbond Combo Glass/Paint Primer is an isocyanate, solvent-based all-in-one primer developed to maximise the bond of adhesives and sealants on low-surface-energy substrates – above all in automotive glass bonding.
- One black primer for glass, silk-screened ceramic frit, paintwork and pinch-weld – no separate glass and paint primers to buy
- Promotes adhesion, improves bond durability and gives optimum UV protection to the bond line
- Acts as a corrosion inhibitor: touch in pinch-weld scratches, nicks and rust spots before bonding
- Also primes acrylic (PMMA) and polycarbonate windows, fibreglass and polyester – recommended for marine glazing – plus aluminium, metals, stainless steel, painted surfaces, ABS, wood and PVC
- Compatible with all Winbond polyurethane and hybrid adhesives; use with Winbond Glass Wipe for the full surface preparation system
- 1000ml bottle: the economical choice for high-volume fitting operations and bodyshops (covers 80–100 ml/m² on glass)
